My favorite population treating most complex related issues for youth-experienced in substance use, mental health, environmental, situational factors such as grief and loss./adjustments Resolving family conflicts and improving communication within the family systems.I have enjoyed my professional experiences working with couples over the course of my career. I am a firm believer that communication and patience are the key to building and developing healthy relationships. The highlights include a private case I had in 2014-I worked with a couple who were having communication related issues in all aspects of the marriage. The wife was throwing things at her husband in frustration. The husband was in the Army full time. The wife just having a baby and in nursing school all hours was really exhausted, frustrated on an intimate level that she desired. The wife revealed her continued wounds of childhood trauma in more detailed opening up the window for the husband to finally connect an have true compassion for his wife providing her the affection and platform of a very healthy relationship. The wife was able to express her feelings in ways that her husband could relate and release his own stressors, fears and frustrations. The marriage was open, transparent and a successful graduation from therapy.
