You have a right to healthy and shame-free sexuality—it’s part of your nature.
You may be seeking help on your own—to process past experiences and beliefs, strengthen your support system, or gain support in accessing affirming healthcare. You may be seeking help with family—longing for acceptance from family members, or needing guidance with discussing sexual health with your children. You may be seeking help with your relationship—wanting to deepen intimacy, unpack inequity impacting your relationship, explore shared sexuality, or establish clear boundaries.
My mission is to support your relationship with your sexuality. My therapeutic philosophy includes prioritizing: safety, consent and respect; multicultural humility and anti-oppressive care; sex-positivity; disability and reproductive justice; holistic and community-oriented lens; and body-liberation and weight neutrality.
I believe sexuality s holistic and encompassing, not limited to commercialized ideals and physical sexual acts. I believe our sexuality is naturally-designed and fundamental to our well-being.
I believe sexual healthcare and thorough, shame-free sex education are human rights and basic needs. I believe in reproductive justice and body autonomy. I believe everyone has a right to accessing compassionate care and support.
I believe pleasure, exploration and experimentation are all basic human rights and needs. I believe in self-knowing, self-pleasure and self-respect; giving each client the space to explore what feels right for them and understand their limits.
Throughout my career, I have worked with populations across the lifespan. Populations I’ve worked with include children (ages 9 and up), pre-teens or tweens, teenagers and young adults, Millennials and Gen X-ers, and older adults. My experience includes working within community mental health and private practice settings.
My experience has contributed to my specializations and areas of focus:
- Sex-positive parenting.
- Relationship therapy centering CNM, polyamorous, kink, BDSM, and non-sexual identities.
- LGBTQIA+ affirmative individual, relationship and family therapy (providing letters of support, family attunement, trans- and nonbinary sexuality, etc.).
- Sex education and therapy across the lifespan.
While I specialize in sex therapy, I am not limited to only providing specific sex therapy services. Whether you’re seeking sex therapy services or sex-positive care, I provide mental health treatment to individuals, families and relationship systems with my pillars of service in Washington state (as an LMHC) and Oregon (as an LPC).
