Do you have the desire to talk to someone about stress, anxiety, relationships, or grief and loss? Do you find that others want to “fix” things for you or they become too emotional when you are sharing with them but you just want to be listened to? Would you like to be able to process your thoughts and feelings openly and honestly without filtering your words? I would like to be able to provide you with that opportunity. I seek to provide calming and nurturing counseling sessions that focus on your needs and interests. Starting therapy takes much courage and I applaud you for taking the first step in searching for a therapist and starting the therapy process. We will work at the pace you are comfortable with to make progress on goals that you identify and establish. My goal is that you will lead your therapy sessions to make the positive changes in your life that you want. Self care is very important and we will explore and practice doing self care as part of your daily routine.

When I am not practicing therapy, I greatly enjoy spending time with my four legged children. I firmly believe in the therapeutic qualities in having pets. I spend time doing volunteer work with groups such as Castaway Critters and Rebuilding Together. I also enjoy exploring and relaxing in Cape May when I am lucky enough to go. I am an avid reader and will recommend books to others that I find helpful and motivating.
