I am grateful to meet you I have 13 years of experience helping DV families, LGBTQ, families, and homeless families. My expertise is in career therapy, business law, trauma & homeless prevention services, organizational training in mental and behavioral health fields.
I am graduating with my JD Law degree in 2025! This will help me to become fully knowledgeable in the law of Psychology, and broaden my career. Making sure I am educated and knowledgeable is giving back to various communities! I enjoy working with individuals and families to navigate the challenges of life, whether they are personal, with family, or with peers.
Areas of interest include anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep problems, transitions and adjustments, re-entry jail programs, identity development, parenting skills, and family communication. I am bilingual and can conduct assessments and therapy in Urdu. I utilize virtual reality sessions through “oVeRcome” to help you with different phobias!
I describe myself as having a down-to-earth nature, a sense of humor, and a personable demeanor. I have an eclectic, transparent approach, utilizing various theoretical approaches, behavioral neuroscience, and real-life experience. I cater my approach to each client’s individual therapeutic needs.
Additionally, I am trained in two evidence-based models to process trauma, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Also, telemedicine is our new tap into virtual delivery systems. My patients say I am calming, cheerful, motivationally loud :-), and a joy to release to.
