Marriage & Family Therapist Intern, M.A., RYT-200
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, I can change. ” –Carl Rogers
Change is possible. You’ve taken an important step towards it already by considering therapy. I would be honored to walk with you on your journey while providing a safe, supportive, and accepting context that facilitates deep change, change that addresses the roots of the challenges you’re facing. Together, we can slow down and explore, cultivate abiding self-acceptance and practice new possibilities for relationship. Together, we can move out of stuckness into a place of greater authenticity and joy.
In my work, I draw upon Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Transpersonal and Somatic approaches with the overarching goal of inviting awareness and compassion into every nook and cranny of your unique life experience. My work is highly experiential, meaning that I invite clients to pay attention to their here-and-now experience.
As a second-generation Indian-American, developing an identity that integrates all parts of myself has been one of the salient themes of my life experience. It is this pursuit of integrity and a deep desire to understand myself that has brought me to the field of psychotherapy. I hope to nurture this integrity and the greater sense of aliveness that comes with it in my clients.
Because the effectiveness of therapy depends on a strong working relationship between client and therapist, I encourage you to give me a call at 408-963-6694 ext 433 for a brief phone consultation to see if we are a good fit for each other. I invite you to journey with me into the vast sanctuary of the heart.
