Ronda is a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP) who takes a holistic approach to mental health, personal wholeness, and well-being.
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CTP), Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and is EMDR trained. She uses these modalities in conjunction with narrative talk therapy and somatic expression to shift memories when processing past trauma, nightmares, and other negative effects of sexual, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual abuse.
As a Certified Yoga Instructor (CYI) she uses stretching as part of her therapeutic approach for the somatic release of trauma in the body.
Ronda believes that Bible study, prayer, memorizing Scripture, and Holy Spirit power are strong tools in healing the whole person: heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Her core belief is that people are transformed by the renewing of their minds. Beliefs can be changed. By using CBT, CPT, EMDR & REBT her clients are challenged and aided in changing their wrong thinking and faulty beliefs. They are then able to update their feelings and change how they approach life thus experiencing a newness of life, resilience, inner strength, cultivating Joy, Good Digging, and mental toughness.
Ronda specializes in positively empowering other Counselors and women with trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, divorce, grief, marital issues, parenting, betrayal, burnout, and transitional issues. She counsels women 18 years to end of life and heterosexual couples.
RONDA DOES NOT COUNSEL MEN INDIVIDUALLY.
She has many years of business experience having run two multi-million dollar Productions Companies as well as many years in the Banking Industry. She holds a California Real Estate License (inactive), a Cosmetology License, and a Substitute Teaching License.
Ronda believes that psychology is the study of the soul and Jesus Christ is the Savior of the soul and it is this belief that is central to her clinical counseling practice.
