As a LCSW, I take a holistic approach to mental health, with a focus on regaining connection between the mind, body and spirit. Having worked in the health and fitness industry for over 15 years, I have found the importance of addressing each area of a person’s life for complete and total wellness. Think of a wheel for a moment….If that wheel has a flat tire, bent spoke, or missing part, that wheel isn’t moving forward. That is how we can look at our lives, as a wheel with each spoke representing important areas of our life. If one area is out of balance, it can directly impact the rest of your wheel. Whether it is nutrition, physical fitness, stress management, social engagements, financial obligations, spiritual connections or career/education growth, each area has an impact on our mental health. I will take you on a journey of exploration to build self-awareness in each of these areas with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, experiential approach or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy among other modalities if deemed appropriate. Each session will be through a telehealth platform, so you may experience your session in the comfort of your own home.
