Are You Feeling Disconnected From Your True Self? Struggling to Find Meaningful Connections?
If you’re feeling lost, sad, or disconnected from the life and relationships you desire, you’re not alone. These feelings can often trace back to unresolved trauma, particularly from childhood. When we experience abandonment or emotional neglect, we can become trapped in a cycle of isolation, shame, and despair.
If you’re facing chronic anxiety, procrastination, or low-level depression as a daily struggle, therapy can offer a transformative path forward. With a compassionate and holistic approach, we can help you build emotional resilience and work through the deep-rooted wounds that are keeping you stuck.
Together, we can resolve the overwhelming trauma and unfreeze your responses to daily life, enabling you to reconnect with your authentic self and heal after difficult life transitions. You don’t have to do this alone.
Why Is Somatic Healing Important?
Trauma is not just a mental experience—it’s also stored in the body. When we don’t address these bodily responses, the trauma can remain trapped in our nervous system, showing up unexpectedly when we feel emotionally unsafe. Somatic trauma therapy helps release these stored emotions and responses, allowing for profound healing. This is essential for reconnecting to your body, emotions, and desires, which are crucial for healthy relationships and conflict resolution.
When you have the resilience to face what has historically triggered you, you’ll unlock deeper access to the truth within yourself and develop more effective relational skills. You’ll be able to show up in your life with more presence, authenticity, and emotional clarity.
My Approach to Healing
I combine talk therapy with body-focused trauma processing to create a holistic and effective healing experience. This blend allows you to address both your emotional narrative and the physical imprint of trauma in your body. In this way, you can release chronic stress, rewire old patterns, and create lasting change in your life.
If you’re ready to dive deep and work through the defenses that have kept you stuck, we can create the life and relationships that inspire you. However, if you’re looking for a purely cognitive, talk-only approach, we might not be the best fit.
Two Service Options
1) Individual Counseling (Talk Therapy for support and exploration)
Duration: 1 hour – $70 USD
This option is ideal for those who are seeking clarity about their patterns and challenges, and are willing to continue doing the work on their own. We’ll explore your story and emotions, with practical exercises and optional homework to help you build awareness and move forward.
2) Psychotherapeutic Trauma Healing (Somatic Processing + Emotional Release)
Duration: 1.5 hours – $80 USD
This in-depth therapy focuses on permanently releasing trauma responses and old behavioral patterns. Through somatic trauma healing, we address deeply held emotional blockages in the body and subconscious, helping you break free from the patterns that have been limiting your growth. The result? Greater emotional resilience, more self-awareness, and the ability to live a life aligned with your authentic self.
This approach is called RPT- rapid personal transformation, similar in some ways to EMDR and IFS.
What Does Somatic Psychotherapy Look Like?
Trauma isn’t just a mental experience—it’s held in the body. The somatic approach I use focuses on healing the body’s responses to past trauma. This allows for a deeper, more permanent release of emotional and physical blockages than traditional talk therapy alone. By addressing the root causes of your struggles—rather than simply managing symptoms—we create lasting change in your life.
In our sessions, we’ll explore:
- Chronic stress responses and emotional patterns that keep you stuck.
- The nervous system’s survival mechanisms that trigger automatic reactions when emotional safety feels threatened.
- Intergenerational trauma and how family patterns may be contributing to your current struggles.
- Prenatal or early life experiences that may be influencing your present emotional state.
Through gentle somatic processes, we’ll help you release these stuck emotions and create space for a healthier, more fulfilling life. As you heal, you’ll naturally reconnect with resourceful states of being, such as confidence, safety, creativity, openness, and trust—states that are more aligned with who you truly are.
Clients often find that they experience profound shifts in a relatively short amount of time. The combination of emotional release and deeper, targeted healing enables you to move beyond old wounds and step into the life you desire with more ease and clarity.
About Me
As an empath, I’ve always been attuned to the emotional experiences of others. Growing up in an emotionally challenging environment, coupled with the experience of immigrating alone to a new culture at 20, I’ve personally navigated complex post-traumatic stress and deep emotional healing. These life experiences have shaped my passion for psychotherapy and my deep understanding of trauma.
Through my own journey of self-discovery, I learned the importance of tuning into my own needs, practicing self-compassion, and setting boundaries. This process not only helped me heal deep chronic emotional pain, but also changed me for better, empowered me to build long term healthy relationships, and also to risk taking another life changing experience – immigrate once again but this time with sense of confidence, security and empowerment.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Diploma in Counseling, and I continue to develop my expertise in diverse therapeutic modalities focused on trauma healing. My approach blends psychological insight with somatic techniques to facilitate lasting transformation.
