I am an Independently Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families find new ways of relating that ultimately fosters increased joy and intimacy in their important relationships.
I believe that we all have the capacity to grow towards becoming better versions of ourselves. I work collaboratively with individuals, couples, and families to help them achieve their desired goals for treatment. I place great emphasis on developing a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients, while also valuing the inherent ability that each person has to work towards individual growth and change. I utilize a variety of interventions in working with clients, viewing treatment systemically, through the lens of experiential and structural therapy.
For families in distress, it is extremely common to feel “stuck” in the same patterns of behavior. Similarly for couples, it can feel like you have the same arguments over and over again. While these feelings of being “stuck” can be highly stressful, there is hope.
I have experience in working with adolescents in crisis and their families, stemming from my time spent at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. At NCH, I worked predominantly with adolescents struggling with suicidal ideation and mood disorders such as depression and anxiety.
I also have experience in working with couples in distress, stemming from my work at Ohio State’s Couple and Family Therapy clinic.
Life is hard sometimes and can be extremely difficult to navigate. This is especially true when we are not at our best, either in our intimate relationships or in our families. I am happy to help you and your loved ones navigate through difficult times, empowering you to become the best version of yourself.
I am licensed by the Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapy Board as a Marriage and Family Therapist. My clinical experience is a product of my training at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Ohio State University, and Ohio Guidestone.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, yoga, running, and spending time with my family and close friends.
