“All that you touch, you change. All that you change, changes you. The only lasting truth is change.” OB
Change is constant, it’s what made you the resilient and passionate person you are today. At times it leaves us feeling like we’ve disconnected. You may feel stuck, or your body & emotions numb. Confusion and overwhelm sometimes disconnects us from our inner wisdom. Maybe you feel drawn to seek a fresh perspective on issues you’ve had with yourself, a partner, friends, or family. At times, we know we need a shift, but it sounds exhausting to go through alone. Many of my clients find that they feel better when they have an ear to listen and affirming space to feel seen, supported, and open to explore.
I create safe and empowering spaces where clients can bring their whole selves into the room; Mind, body, and spirit. You are a dynamic human whose rage, grief, and joy deserve to be seen. I understand it can be hard to find a therapist who truly sees us at the core of our unique identities, but I empower those I work with to keep taking up space. While I am a partner on your journey, ultimately it is your inner wisdom and strength that guides our work. My role is to be a collaborator and witness on your path.
As a mixed race clinical social worker, I understand the importance of having liberation focused therapists who understand interconnectedness, racial/intergenerational trauma & healing. For me, decolonization work is personal, ongoing, and at the center of healing work. I also know therapy is most helpful when it is culturally sensitive & trauma-informed. We all deserve to be seen in our wholeness and we also deserve opportunities to grow, free from bias, judgment, and harm.
I offer therapy services to individuals from all backgrounds and lifestyles. I enjoy integrating somatic & ecological theories with experiential approaches including nature- and mindfulness based therapy. Ultimately, I am thrilled to work with clients passionate about radical healing and exploring the complexities of their identity. Finding the right therapist is important and I invite you to reach out for a free 20-minute phone consultation to help us both get to know each other and explore your next steps.
