I have over 20 years of working with adults and teens in the USA as a licensed mental health counselor and the United Kingdom as a clinical psychologist. I specialize in treating phobias, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, and other traumatic events. I use CBT, TFCBT, EMDR, and interpersonal therapy to help treat your symptoms. I specifically use EMDR for trauma and research has My goal is that when you walk into my office or start a video session with me, you feel at ease and know you have made the right decision. This time is about you.
I offer a non-judgmental space where you can feel vulnerable and breakdown. There might be crying, possibly laughter, and hopefully a sense of what you are wanting to gain as we go deeply into what brought you here in the first place. It could be anxiety, some traumatic events you cannot get past, depression, or addiction. Quite possibly it could be you are having marital problems such as infidelity, communication problems, or feel stuck in your marriage that you do not know whether to leave the marriage or stay.
You do not have to navigate these feelings alone. It is my passion and mission in life to help individuals and couples to re-discover who they are and find themselves again. I have worked with many populations with many clients from First Responders, Teachers, Mechanics, CEOs of the big 4 top companies, tv/film stars, lawyers, engineers, and editors of magazines. I am very multicultural oriented as well as LGBQT informed.
I help couples to communicate more effectively, learn each other’s love language, and do exercise building to re-connect. I use CBT, TFCBT, Interpersonal therapy, and EMDR to help individuals in all aspects of their lives whether that be grief, trauma, anxiety, depression or just finding your life’s purpose. I am here to support you along your journey and help you fulfill your life. I have been in your shoes before experiencing PTSD from a car accident and balancing work while being a wife.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who graduated with a Bsc Honors in Counseling from the University of West London and an M.S. in Psychology from Kaplan University. Aside from helping people, I am passionate about animal welfare. I used to be the intake coordinator for French Bulldog Rescue Network and for F.R.O.G.S. French bulldog rescue in Florida. When not in the office you can find me on my travels to Europe and the Middle East, volunteering for French Bulldog rescues, enjoying the beach, and cuddling my 14.5-year-old senior French Bulldog, Piggie Pie, and my 4-year-old Frenchie, Mighty Mouse.
I also specialize in grief counseling of humans and beloved pets.
