Through online therapy sessions, I empower women to make peace with the past, restore hope for the future, and thrive in the present.
Perhaps you feel stuck in procrastination, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-sabotage patterns. Maybe your inner child is still hurting and stuck in dysfunctional patterns passed on from your family of origin. Perhaps you struggle with the relationship with your own mother, which may add to the self-doubt and self-criticism you experience in your career or in your own role as a mother. I can help you reflect and process awareness and insights into your own thoughts, emotions, and actions. During our virtual sessions, you will feel seen, heard, and understood, because healing ourselves comes easier when we experience feeling cared for by others. I will hold sacred space for you to discover and illuminate your soul’s needs while modeling the practice of compassion and curiosity which supports safety and growth.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor for the past 12 years, my education and development include a master’s degree in Community Counseling, an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a Child Development minor, and diverse career experience from working with foster care children and parents, at-risk youth, families, children, and adults within various settings. For the past several years, I have focused on supporting adult women struggling with adjustment issues related to life transitions, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, and stress reactions.
My approach to therapy is holistic, inquisitive, and empowering. I value authenticity, creativity, feedback, open-mindedness, and trust. I incorporate the therapeutic techniques of cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered and strengths-focused therapy, with attachment, mindfulness, and solutions orientations sprinkled in. It is our personal responsibility and our privilege to be true to ourselves, making peace within so that we may allow our light to shine in both the darkness and joys of the world. When I’m not in my therapy office I enjoy spending time in my pottery studio, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or traveling.
If you would like to work together, let’s schedule a free 20-minute phone call to discuss how I may be of service and support in your present journey!
** I AM ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ONLINE SESSIONS, not in-person at this time **
I wish you the best and hope you continue to follow through with seeking support for your personal healing journey.
