Ms. Tiffany Paul
Pre-Licensed Professional, MSW, ASW
Living with the wounds of loss, abuse, oppression and other hardships can leave us feeling alienated from ourselves and disconnected from the world around us. Sometimes it feels as if the difficulties we face will never change, or like we are carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders. Psychotherapy can offer an invaluable opportunity to grow and be in deeper connection with yourself and the people around you. Through our time together, my hope is to support you in becoming more connected to what it is you want to be in this world.
I specialize in working with women in early adulthood, fellow change-makers and critical-thinkers, students, LGBTQ+ and gender nonconforming individuals, and those involved in otherwise non-“traditional” relationship structures. I am poly-friendly and BDSM/kink-aware. I do both long-term and short-term therapy on a range of issues, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, stress and burn out. Operating from a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective, I incorporate the principles of harm reduction and mindfulness into my practice.
I hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work with Individuals and Families from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in New York City. I am registered to practice psychotherapy in the State of California by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (Number: ASW65876). As an intern, I am supervised by Cathy Diamond, LMFT (Number: MFC30727).
