Marriage & Family Therapist Intern, Gottman Couples Therapy Trained,IIATP-International Association of Trauma Professionals
People find me warm and friendly, easy to talk to, accepting, and non-judgmental. My goal in therapy is to provide a safe space for you to be yourself, help you discover your strengths, and help you develop insight and acceptance of life lessons in given situations.
Specializing in couples work, LBGTQIA clients, addiction recovery, and trauma, grief, and loss, I provide psychotherapy for couples, families, and individuals.
Let’s look at the frightening parts of your life that you have hidden or haven’t been able to look at before. I am here to support you and walk with you on your journey.
I provide psychotherapy for couples, families, and individuals. I specialize in couples work, LBGTQIA clients, addiction recovery, and trauma, grief, and loss work.
The style of therapy I practice with couples is an evidence based style of therapy known as Gottman Method for healthy relationships. This evidence based practice utilizes a concept known as the Sound Relationship House which focuses on nine areas of relationship work. Couples and I work together on providing a stronger sense of what our partner’s needs are, creating shared meanings, working out issues around conflict, trust and commitment.
I also work with individuals who are on their journey of recovery from addiction. Often I work with clients who are family members or partners of addicted individuals to provide them a safe place to process feelings and changes that arise from the process of recovery.
I am a member of IATP (International Association of Trauma Professionals). I have many evidence based tools I can provide to help you find a way to ground yourself when recovering from Trauma, Grief, or Loss.
I look forward to meeting with you and supporting you on your journey.
